Carters Paihia Run/Walk - 29 May 2011

START TIMES The first category (Runners wearing RED numbers) will start at 9.00am with each subsequent category (Fast Walkers wearing GREEN numbers, Casual walkers wearing WHITE numbers and Pram Walkers wearing BLUE numbers) starting approximately 1 minute part.

NDHB PRAM WALK For the health and safety of your child and other participants there are restrictions on this event which must be adhered to, Marshals will be in place to ensure the following: Pram walkers must enter the specific pram walk category. Pram walkers must not run at any stage with a pram. Pram walkers must remain in single file at all times (to allow other participants to pass safely). Due to uneven terrain on parts of the course Sport Northland advises that appropriate prams/buggies should be used.

MIZONE LEADER BOARD While the focus will remain on the social aspect that so many of you enjoy, this year a Leader Board has been introduced to the Sport Northland Run/Walk Series. The first five men and women finishers from the 8km Run event will each be allocated points which will go toward their total on the Mizone Leader Board. To be eligible for points towards the Mizone at the Carters Paihia Run/Walk you will need to enter the 8km Run - you will be issued with a Red (background colour) bib number and must start at the 8km start with the runners.
